Ardielli Fornasa Associati at the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale
“Peroject Operational Room” – Venice Pavilion in the City
On the occasion of the 19th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia (Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective, curated by Carlo Ratti), Ardielli Fornasa Associati takes part in the exhibition “Libraries. Bildung Venetian Intelligence”, curated by Iuav for the Venice Pavilion in the City.
Hosted in the historic Sala Camino at Ca’ Tron, the “Projects Operational Room” is an immersive and analytical space dedicated to the design tools developed by Iuav in collaboration with the research center C.SCARPA. Curated by Marco Ardielli and Paola Fornasa with Giulia Piacenti, the installation features 24 ongoing projects presented through lenticular imagery and a unique evaluative system inspired by the Incan quipu.
A visual and conceptual reflection on the transcalar nature of design and its potential to generate connections, replicability, and transformative visions for the city of Venice.
The exhibition photographs document a research space that becomes an operative narrative—engaged in dialogue with the city and the future of architectural practice.
