What do we mean when we talk about masterplanning? What processes, experiments and devices have contributed to the definition of masterplanning as an operational methodology for intervening on the city? The research conducted by Marco Ardielli on these topics laid the foundations for the activation of an advanced training course promoted by the C.SCARPA research centre. The results of this course are presented here, together with the foundations of a personal methodological reflection in the making.
